Guests:
Repair events are hosted at various locations in the Asheville, NC area throughout the year. These events are totally free and open to guests of all ages. Guests are encouraged to bring broken household objects - small appliances, torn clothing, heirloom objects, almost anything! - to repair events where qualified volunteers will help guide you through the repair process.

Registration is NOT necessary, but guests are encouraged to first reach out to Dan at WNCRepairCafe@gmail.com and describe your necessary repair work. Some repairs can be easily diagnosed remotely, others may not be possible at all.
All guests are encouraged to first read the House Rules before planning your visit.
Volunteers:
- Are you a skilled repair person?
- Do you have a passion for sustainability and education?
- Can you help with promotion, organization, or provide baked goods?
A reasonable ratio of volunteers to participants is essential for a successful repair event, and volunteers of all skill levels are greatly appreciated.
